Meet Ocean Blue Mahoe - Jamaica’s Newest Harbour Tugboat

Get up close & personal and say hello to the Ocean Blue Mahoe, the newest addition to the #PortAuthorityJa's harbour tugboat fleet.

Officially commissioned & blessed just last month at the Historic Naval Dockyard in Port Royal, this 25 metre long powerhouse is equipped with the most modern technologies including a fire-fighting system. Built by Groupe Océan, this vessel complements its sister tugs the Ocean Kingston Pride and the Ocean Tallawah, and will join them in providing critical harbour towing for the docking and undocking of large vessels.

The PAJ continues to do its part to ensure that Jamaica remains on its trajectory to be a globally competitive logistics and transshipment hub, and to eventually be the fourth node in the international logistics chain.
